Miami condos under construction

Construction progress adds useful evidence to a buying decision. It also introduces questions about remaining work, access, inspections and the difference between a visible milestone and a home ready for occupancy.

Understand the milestone being reported

Groundbreaking, vertical construction completion, interior fit-out and closing readiness are different stages. Ask for a dated developer update and a clear description of what remains. A topped-out tower does not by itself establish that homes can close.

Compare the current home with the original materials

Request the latest floor plan and finish schedule. Check whether your shortlisted unit differs from an earlier release, including appliances, outdoor space, ceiling details or the building’s amenity plans. Keep written confirmation of any change that matters to you.

Plan for access and inspections

Ask when visits are allowed and which inspections are permitted before closing. Construction sites may have limited access. Plan travel around confirmed appointments and written notices rather than a broad completion estimate.

Turn progress into a practical shortlist

Tell Diego your intended moving window and the flexibility you have. Ask for project-specific progress, current unit information and the remaining purchase steps. This guide does not classify every project in the directory as under construction.
